About Kevin

Kevin D. Fitzpatrick, Jr. is an attorney in private practice in Atlanta . A native of New Jersey , Kevin has resided in Atlanta for over 30 years, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oglethorpe University in 1978 and his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law in 1982.

Prior to entering private practice, Kevin spent 16 years as a staff attorney and negotiator for the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA), the nation's largest pilots' union.  In addition to providing strategic guidance and leading bargaining efforts with both major and regional airlines, including Delta Air Lines, Kevin has extensive experience in FAA Enforcement actions and NTSB aircraft accident investigations. 

Kevin also served as in-house counsel to the Communications Workers of America (CWA) District 3 from 1982-1986 during which time he represented the union in 10 Southeastern states and participated in contract negotiations between CWA and BellSouth.

Currently an Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Legal Service Plan Attorney, Kevin is a member of the National Transportation Safety Board Bar Association and the Railway Labor Act Committee of the American Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section. 

Kevin is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and the bars of the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 5 th and 11 th Circuits and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
